Cops Nab Alleged Taxi Robber

Portland police arrested Manuel Loureiro, 30, on March 30^th on Congress Street, in connection with a string of robberies of taxi drivers in the city. Police say they believe Loureiro is responsible for at least four of six robberies in which cab drivers were threatened with a knife and robbed of cash.

Loureiro has been out on bail for burglarizing four Amato's sandwich shops.
