The Greater Portland Transit District is examining its current route structure and developing a long-range plan for future route structure needs. Currently, staff members from METRO and the Greater Portland Council of Governments are gathering information for the subcommittee working on the project.
They have completed the first phase of the work and wish to solicit input at two meetings which are going to be held on Friday, April 28, 2006, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, in Room 316 of the Portland Public Library Main Branch on Congress St., and on Tuesday May 2, 2006, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Gathering room at the Walker Memorial Library in Westbrook. All are invited to attend and share thoughts and ideas. Please RSVP to Peter Cavanaugh at METRO (774-0351 or pcavanaugh@gpmetrobus.com
